hired work

I was hired by the photographer Dean West to turn flat designs of melting pots into physical objects he could incorporate into his still life photography. I created the pot below by 3D scanning melted wax and small flower vases. I combined them within the 3D modeling software ZBrush. I then proceeded to warp and play with these scans to create the desired effects.

As an employee of NYU’s LaGuardia Studio, I executed a 3D scan of Björk for MIT’s Neri Oxman. The mask Neri Oxman, and her team at the MIT Media Lab, built the 3D mask Björk wore for multiple performances based off the 3D scan executed by myself and Taylor Absher. The specifics of this projects has been documented here.
